Raised and educated in North Carolina, Damu has lived and worked in Dubai for nearly a decade. He is a highly sought-after speaker and thought leader in the Blockchain and Cryptocurrency industry. He has advised over 20 startups on doing business in Dubai and helped secure first-round investment capital to grow their business. In 2019, he wrote the Amazon bestseller, “I Don’t Trust You: But Blockchain and Bitcoin Will Help,” where he detailed the future and integration of Blockchain technology into the global economy.
An engineer and entrepreneur, Damu created Finteachable, a training platform that offers international financial service executives courses in artificial intelligence innovation, Blockchain, and digital marketing.
Before his fintech career, Damu held positions at Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Duke Energy. While living in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, he worked in the health care sector as a Senior Strategy Manager for National Medical Care.
Damu holds a MBA in International Marketing from Hult International Business School and a BS in Computer Science from North Carolina A&T University.
