Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Jarvis is the Chairman and CEO of Highland Poe. His primary role is creating the vision and overseeing the firm’s operations. He is also the chief strategist for each of HP’s portfolio companies.

For more than 20 years, Jarvis has advised corporate and non-profit CEOs, federal, state, and local government decision-makers, and foreign business leaders. Before his private sector career, Jarvis served as Chief of Staff to former U.S. Representative Harold Ford, Jr. of Tennessee and Senior Advisor to Clinton Labor Secretary, Honorable Alexis M. Herman.

Politically, Jarvis is noted for his work and dedication as a member of the Biden/Harris National Finance Committee and advising governors, United States Senators, members of Congress, and mayors policy positions, campaign messaging and debate preparation.

Most notably, Jarvis is regarded as one of the premier crisis managers and risk mitigators in the country. His work in this niche area has been applauded not only by his clients but national and international media outlets.

His sage advice and counsel has gained international attention in the Middle East, South America, and the UK, where he has advised clients on international development, equitable growth and social impact investment strategies. Jarvis is an active member of the American Chamber in Dubai and has extensive in-country relationships in Guyana and the Caribbean.

Jarvis is a founding partner of the Washington Nationals baseball team. He played an integral role in bringing America’s favorite pastime back to the Nation’s capital and promoting the club’s economic benefit to the community.

While his professional accomplishments are many, none overshadows the ten years he spent serving as Executive Consultant to the president and board of directors of the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial Project Foundation. In this role, Jarvis is recognized for helping to secure an unprecedented $200 million+ to erect a memorial on the National Mall in honor of the greatest man of peace, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

A native of Houston and graduate of Prairie View A&M University, Jarvis has served on several non-profit boards throughout his career and is a member of the Forbes Business Council, a distinguished community of global business leaders. Jarvis has also been a featured lecturer and presenter at the National Press Club, California State University, Northridge, Howard University, University of Maryland Global Campus, and Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.
